White Water Rafting...

Ok so here is a rapid that I can’t for the life of me remember its name…anyway, we were allowed to go back in a surf it. The guides asked who all wanted to go back in and most of our raft bailed on us. Autum, Ted, Christine, and I where left. 2 other people came over and joined our raft just so we would have enough people to get into the rapid!
The first time we went in no one got pushed out. The second time we lost 3 people…Ted, a stranger, and myself…I didn’t realize that I could hold my breath for so long! Or that my nose could handle literally thousands of gallons of water being shoved up my nose! The guides told us they call that a nose enema! They aren’t kidding!!!!WOW!!

Just imagine Ted screaming “DIG DIG DIG” and you’ll be there on the side lines with us!

The raft got hung up on some rocks, so they had to have a rope thrown out to them and pull the raft to shore….meantime, the rest of us our trying to get to shore…Good times!

White Water Rafting...

What a great trip we had white water rafting! We had 26 people that ended up heading to the Black River where it was overcast for the morning, but in the afternoon it warmed right up! Which was not normal for our summer weather pattern this year. Hey! You won’t hear me complain…Ok so here are the pictures from my raft which consisted of: Ted, Autum, Angelie, Christine, Marianne, Tina, Jennifer Born, 2 guides, and myself. No one fell out by accident. Ted and I (which you’ll see in the pictures) got dumped because we where being do I dare say “dare devils?”….

Summertime Fun!

So I'm a little slow at uploading pictures, but at least I am writing something..
Our summer is insanely crazy!
Last night we went bridesmaid dress shopping. It was fun but we didn't find anything "gripping",so we decided to make them. Ha ha...someone will find time to sew them together. Actually, Mrs,Bouffard is going to make them for us. = )
This weekend the Lindsey family is rolling into town and will be parking the bus at the farm. We are all really excited to host them again. (I should say I am glad I'm home this year,so I can see them!) Check out their website- www.lindsey-family.com
To check into who they are.
Wedding plans our coming along nicely...hahah..I say that because I haven't done a thing, and seems like they are...At least, wedding date is set, dresses for girls decided on,list of peoples coming done....
What else, we play volleyball on Sundays, graduation parties are in full swing, hay season will kick in someday, traveling schedules keep getting jostled around, new job starts July 1st, and of course the wedding!
I'll try and post some fun pictures of what we are doing...I haven't forgotten the convention pictures; just be patient. = )

Rochester Homeschool Convention...

Here we are once again at the NYS Homeschool convention in Rochester. Actually, I got to skip out on last years because I was in Russia. The set up here is really nice and I like all the things that are within walking distances. The important things like Hotel...bubble tea..hahaha..priorities!!
The convention actually started yesterday but I didn't get out here till this afternoon. It has been really nice reconnecting with different friends from all over the state that we only get to see once a year.
I am really hoping to have pictures to upload when I get home so that some of you can see how much..sniff sniff...everyone has grown up! I can't believe how many gradutates I know..where has the time gone!! It is so shocking. For those of you who are out of state and would like to know who all is graduating here is the list:
Zach Rall Ryan Karr
Brenna Ardner Kelsey Reed
Brian Pursheke Jordan Wood
Caroline Putney Andrew Roberts
Elizabeth Laskowski
I know there are more but I don't have my list in front of me so here are just a few names...
Well, I have to jet. I'll keep you updated!
