Well Eveyone,
We are back home. We got in late last night. Our time with the Lindsey family was short lived, but we had to get back....I don't know why people say that leaving is such sweet sorrow...I never find it to be sweet at all....unless its some where I don't want to be..but this was not the case!
Our last day at the Lindsey house was quiet but absolutly lovely....We helped clean up after the busy weekend, and just enjoyed each others company. When we caught a break in the afternoon you found most of us in the livingroom singing praise songs...Thanks Ben for allowing us to stretch your paino playing...remember it is on the on beat in "Amazing Grace" by Todd Agnew....(( =
We closed our time with the Lindseys the traditional way...Mr,Lindsey had us bring down 200 wings, so we had our chicken wings and pizza night...it was filled with loads of laughter and memories...that is the laughter came from the "girls" end of the table....Hey! what can I say it is a favorite hobby!!!
When we finished cleaning up we sat down and watched One Nigh With the King....I didn't make it all the way through...my eyes were getting heavy and so I had to do the responsible thing and go to bed. We wanted to be out of the house by 9am.
***************************************************************************
We did get off on time...and Miss Marianne drove the first 5 or so hours. Poor Autum didn't feel well and she slept most of the way home. After I took, over Marianne pulled her phone out and texted anyone that would give her the time of day....it was very amusing! She had 3 people going at the same time at one point...she has yet to perfect the art of texting fast so she provided me some entertainment....until I got bored with her and stared whistling...which she didn't care for so I put my bluetooth in and called home...Just needed to check in...then Marianne got the bright idea that she would pick someone out of my phone, dial it, and let me answer it not knowing who it was...that lasted....well, it didn't.....silly girl.....
After, we dropped Marianne off Autum drove...we were an hour from home and I just couldn't stay focused anymore...We pulled in at 11:24pm...we only stopped a few times and still made good time.....I think its because we had a car....(( ;
(please,no comments....I don't drive fast!)
I was told that it would be easier to set up a blog then sending out e-mails when I travel...now you have to do all the work to keep track of me! But the most exciting thing is you can see what I am up to when I am home, too....Its a win-win as long as I remember to up-date it...happy reading!

What a day!!
It has been quite the day...and we are very tired...I forgot to tell all of you that we are 1hr behind home...which means that we have to try and adjust to a different schedule....and if you ask me has been extremely hard...Yes, even harder then flying to London or Russia....For some reason it has been hard...for everyone..
Anyway, Marianne and I decided to go to Walmart this morning to pick up some stuff for the work day on Monday. We googled the directions and after Mrs,Lindsey saw the map she said it looks good you girls shouldn't get lost....HA!!! After, following the directions and an hour later we didn't get anywhere we needed to be. We went over the mountain through the half dried river...(for real) we ended up back at square one....so after talking it over with Marianne we decided to go the one we saw on our way into the Lindseys....Which was another 45 min away....About half way into our trip we saw a sign for the town we where supposed to be in...So we headed that way..it was a nerve wracking drive and poor Marianne couldn't stomach half the ride....It took her along time to settle down...at one point I thought I was going to need to get her a brown paper bag!
When we finally got to the festival we listened to bluegrass made homemade lemonade and got to meet some SUPER great people!! The people down here are super friendly...but the thing is none of them are originally from Kentucky...my question to you is where are they? That's ok...we are hearing enough "ye'alls" to last us a life time..but they mean it in the most friendly way....
At the festival they had competitions and congrats go out to:
Jared for taking 2nd in Banjo
Rebekah for taking 2nd in guitar
Timothy for taking 1st in Dobro (which was the cutest thing to watch!!)
Caleb for taking 2nd in mandolin.
They also participated in the band competition and placed 5th...But everyone was ok with that...it was really late before they announced the winners and we wanted to get home....
Marianne and I also met this 17 year old boy from Tennessee who was very friendly and was very disappointed when Marianne told him that she was 23 and he wasn't marriage material.. It didn't seem to stop him...I believe he has a crush on her and will continue to communicate with her....will see...we got a really good laugh out of it!! What fun..
tomorrow the Lindsey's have to sing twice...Once in the morning and another time in the evening...we are hoping to rest in the afternoon since we have been going going going and all the little kids and adults alike are starting to drag just a wee bit...and we get really giggly.... which is a sight to behold!!
That about sums up our day.....Hope you are all staying together while we are traveling...Love Ya,
The 3 wandering women...

Arrived Safely....
Greetings Everyone,
The 3 of us made it in safely this morning. It took us 13hours!! Which isn't to bad....considering Google said 13hrs. an 45 min...and we stopped 4 times....I think it was because there was no traffic in the major cities....except Buffalo! Which didn't slow us down to much....
All of us crashed when we got in....and then was awakened by Autum wanting a cup of coffee....After she woke up Elizabeth 9 kids and 2 adults slowly came tumbling down the stairs...
Today, we caught a quick nap, helped pick tomatoes for salsa, and later this evening we will be heading to a blue grass fest!
It has been a great joy joining the Lindsey family around the table eating, singing, and fellowshipping about old times....They are teaching us some new worship songs that are just lovely and we (Marianne and I) are doing our best to have them memorized before we leave, so we can teach all of you...
Oh, before I forget a very special Grandpa Lindsey has joined us for the festival this weekend...what a joy it has been to see him!! There are great times ahead of us...now if we can just stay away from all snakes and creepy spiders......(the chiggers are "out of season") Yea!!
TTFN....

On the Road again....
Hey Everyone,
It is true you can't keep this girl home....truth be told I felt the Lord telling me to go....so don't be so judgmental!
A moment of truth....I have been wondering what is next in my life...and trying to figure out what "I" want and what the Lord wants has been quite a wrestling match....so where am I at you may wonder? I am to be content where I am...that is at home. I believe he has provided this down time for me to finish up my courses and continue to use my singleness in ways unseen to me....
So, like I said I felt for a week or so him telling me to spend some time with the Lindseys....I haven't seen then in forever and am looking forward to hugging each and everyone of them....(even you Jared!!) Some of you who read this may not know who the Lindsey family is so you can check out their website at http://www.lindsey-family.com/
Autum,Marianne, and I will be heading down on Thursday and will be back Wednesday. I wanted to stay longer but the girls need to get back...I ask that you think and pray for us while we are driving...it is a 13hr drive and we aren't leaving until 3:15pm....so we will be getting in very early there....if your phone rings answer it I may need to talk to someone to keep me awake!! All 3 of us drive so that shouldn't be a problem, and we believe in stopping at any Starbucks that we see...(girls I mean it!!)
I am hoping that I can post pictures while I am there...so stay tuned!!

The Last Night...
I am so glad that I won't have to deal with the dog slobber but for one more night!!It is gross...you sit in the chair and he comes over and wipes his drool across your shoulder...It has been fun house sitting, but I am in need of getting back to my community....A place where there is people, houses,my own bed, and best of all no dogs to bother me...(yes, we have dogs but we don't deal with each other)
So, I have to clean this house and make sure it is in ship shape before the fam gets home and I am thinking about making them some cookies....that would be nice....yummy!! As long as the dog doesn't get in the way....
Oh, I did go shopping yesterday. It was weird doing it by myself...found some great deals.. and bought the book I have been wanting....Europe on a shoestring...by Lonely Planet. It is a great book and am enjoying it alot....so what if its a traveling guide book....(( =
Well, I suppose I should go feed the dog....
