hahaha...I learned the term "hump day" when I signed on at the school. Meaning its Wednesday and we are half way through our week, so stop dragging your feet because its all downhill from here...(till next "hump day" anyway.) My job at the school is still a love/hate relationship. I do have to say it seems like the good days are starting to out weigh the bad ones! YAY!!! Took long enough; we are 50 days or so into the school year. I must say that morning at school is my favorite; right before the kids come....Seriously, all the teachers are trying to figure out their lessons for the day and sort of stressed out, but when I get there....you can say my smile melts away the stress...lol Ok I am being serious! I have had more then one teacher come to me and say thanks for always smiling...I've also gotten why are you always smiling? You come in everyday the same way? what's wrong with you? In return...I smile..I have alot to be thankful for and just because my job can be stressful doesn't mean I should pout about it and bring everyone else around me down too.
Oh, and lets not forget the beautiful little kindergartners who love you and just want to hug you...the unconditional love that they have even when they are grumpy is so precious! I love it and I am thankful each day I get to go into the kindergarten class and help out. When I don't they ask me where I have been...or if I'm in the hall they say "Hello, Miss Ashley"...why shouldn't I smile?!! LOVE IT!!
So last night we had 7 beautiful German hounds...I repeat German hounds!! They are so sweet making their little grunting noises and sucking the life out of Freckles. Which by the way, is her last litter. We will be getting her fixed when theses puppies are gone. Oh, and rumor has it one is remaining on the farm. Yup, a new addition to our dog pound. I'm sure Autum will pick out a cute one; since she is the one that takes care of them. I'm pretty sure it will be a male, too. They don't run like females....
Also. we are counting down the days till Ted's Birthday. He will be 24 on Monday. This is the time of year where he thinks he can catch up, but he can't! I still give him the satisfaction of being asked if he is the oldest...Thanks to all who ask that. It makes my day. = )
Let's see...I think that is about it for this week...(this post is dedicated to Jason Cassulis....see I am getting better!)
I was told that it would be easier to set up a blog then sending out e-mails when I travel...now you have to do all the work to keep track of me! But the most exciting thing is you can see what I am up to when I am home, too....Its a win-win as long as I remember to up-date it...happy reading!
